Programming instructions for transmitters coded with
DIP* switches (*dual in-line pin)
Many older remote
control transmitters have
a block of code switches inside to set a personal security
code,
in most cases they consist of a block of 10
or 12 DIP
switches, in which
case the
switches inside
your new transmitter should be set to the same sequence as your original
transmitter(s)

Compatibility
Each remote control
system manufacturer uses a unique security code protocol,
therefore a transmitter can only be used with the specific make &
model
of
equipment for which it was intended and will not be compatible with any
other
make of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same
