Compatibility
Each remote control system manufacturer uses a unique security
code protocol,
therefore the above transmitters can only be used with the specific make & model
of equipment for which they were intended and will not be compatible with any
other make of remote control system even if the radio frequency is the same
Programming Instructions
The following procedure should be carried out in close proximity
of the Aprimatic receiver unit
(this is normally inside the control cabinet adjacent
to the gates or inside the motor housing of a garage door operator)
1/ Take an existing working keyfob transmitter and
press all the buttons simultaneously
(2 buttons on a two channel keyfob, all four buttons on a four channel keyfob)
until the receiver unit emits a continuous bleeping sound. (the sound will
continue for 30 secs. and the following steps must be completed within this
time)
2/ Take the new keyfob transmitter and press all the buttons simultaneously,
the bleeping sound should stop for aprox. 1.5 seconds and re-start.
Now release the buttons
3/ Press the button on your new keyfob that you wish to programme to the
receiver, the bleeping sound should stop for aprox. 1.5 seconds and re-start.
This completes the programming process, repeat the process for other channels as
required
Note: Aprimatic equipment supplied by some
stockists (e.g. Strand Systems Ltd of Halstead Essex) may use a unique security code feature whereby the receiver will
only pair with transmitters that have been coded with the correct security
password, in which case additional transmitters must be programmed by the
original supplier using a special computer based programming tool and software
program. (Apricot)
