Remote control system upgrade for Stanley ET380 garage door operator

Quick & simple DIY installation, the Seip upgrade comprises of a new 433Mhz radio receiver module that can be fitted to your existing Stanley garage door operator within about 5 minutes with no technical knowledge and a choice of keyfob style remote control.

The Seip receiver unit is supplied with a 13A mains plug type power adaptor & 7Mtrs of low voltage flex and simply plugs into a normal household mains socket and connects by two wires to the low voltage wall mounted pushbutton switch connections on the rear panel of the Stanley ET380 garage door operator. (labelled 'BLK' & 'RED' below)

pushbutton switch should remain connected)

Note: The Seip EKR1MCT remote control upgrade receiver unit connects to the same circuit as the wall mounted control switch therefore it's essential that your door functions normally from the 'Door' control pushbutton so please make sure your door works from this button before ordering a remote control upgrade kit.

Q/ If my existing electric operator fails, can the new Seip keyfobs be used with a replacement operator ?
A/ Yes - Seip are Europe's leading garage door operator manufacturer and the keyfob transmitters supplied with our upgrade kits are compatible with the current Seip electric door operator range and if you decide to purchase a replacement Seip electric door operator from us within 12 months of buying a remote control upgrade we'll buy back the unwanted Seip receiver unit at the original purchase price less 50%.

Q/ Can I use the spare button(s) on Seip keyfobs to control other doors or items around the home ?
A/ Yes - Seip produce a range of receivers to enable gates, water pumps & lights etc. to be controlled by the spare keyfob buttons.

Q/  Will I still be able to use the original hand transmitters ?
A/ Yes - by attaching a new Seip receiver in addition to the original, both new and old transmitters can be used to control a door

Q/ What is the range from which I can control the door ?
A/ The Seip Midi keyfob has a range of 75 to100 Mtrs whilst the smaller Mini fob offers slightly less range
