(brown box)
Stanley systems were supplied on 40.685Mhz,
173.3Mhz and 300Mhz radio frequencies, our
Seip
upgrade receiver can be used regardless
of
the frequency of your original system.
Note: if your Stanley receiver is the 173.3Mhz
type it must be removed prior to installing the
new Seip receiver unit(see F.A.Q.)
The two core bell wire from the
pushbutton switch
(if fitted)
should remain connected as before
(see white wires in the above images)
Ignore the wording on the label below the three terminals on the
Stanley operator as it's incorrect!
The left terminal is
the '24V' supply and the right
terminal
is 'COM' (common) as shown in the schematic diagram.

Stanley garage door operator fitted with new
Seip 433Mhz upgrade receiver type EKR1MCG
(white module)
Fitting procedure:
Slacken the three terminal screws
approximately four turns only then remove the original receiver unit, connect the three coloured wires from the new Seip
EKR1MCG radio receiver module to the screw terminals as follows:
black/blue wire to RH terminal
blue wire to centre terminal
red wire to left terminal
Re-tighten the three terminal screws and attach
the new Seip receiver to the rear panel using the
self-adhesive pads provided
as illustrated above
Note: It's essential that your electric operator functions normally
from the
wired-in pushbutton so
please confirm that your door works properly
from this before ordering a Seip remote control
upgrade.
If a
pushbutton switch has not been installed you can test your operator by
briefly linking the pushbutton terminals on your
door operator unit together with a metal object, (center & right terminals
as illustrated
here) this should start the door moving.

will be required click here for details

I bought our Seip EKR1MCG receiver unit to
replace the old, discontinued Stanley receiver unit of which I lost both remote
transmitters!! My email enquiries were answered very promptly and the replies
were very helpful. I have only just plucked up the courage to fit the new unit
as usually 'simple' things inevitably result in difficulties. However, it really
was the easiest transmitter to fit, and took only a few minutes; just as the
description said! Carolyn, East Ewell, Surrey.
Purchased a Seip receiver upgrade and two mini
keyfob transmitters for a Stanley garage door operator on Thursday after
receiving first class and prompt technical advice by email.
The goods arrived by First Class Recorded Delivery on Friday AM. Cannot
recommend this company enough. They got me out of a difficult spot in double quick
time and at a competitive price too. A pleasure to do business with such a good
company. Alan Dunsmore, Loughborough, Leicestershire.

pumps & lights etc. to be operated from spare buttons on your Seip
keyfob transmitter, the receiver is housed in a weatherproof enclosure
making it suitable for indoor or outdoor applications
Q/ If my aging electric operator fails, can the new Seip keyfobs be used with a replacement
electric operator ? A/ Yes -
Seip are Europe's leading garage door operator manufacturer and the keyfob
transmitters supplied with our upgrade kits are compatible with the
current Seip electric door operator range and if you decide to
purchase a replacement Seip electric door operator from us within 12 months of
buying a remote control upgrade we'll buy back the unwanted Seip receiver unit
at the original purchase price less 50%.
Q/ Can I use the spare
button(s) on Seip keyfobs to control other doors or items around the home ? A/ Yes - Seip produce a range of receivers to enable gates, water
pumps & lights etc. to be controlled by spare buttons on the keyfob .
Q/ Will I still
be able to use the original hand transmitters ? A/ Stanley 173.3Mhz receivers (brown case) are known to interfere
with the performance of the Seip EKR1MCG receiver resulting in very poor
range so if you have a 173.3Mhz receiver unit this must be removed, if
you have aStanley 40.685Mhz receiver this may remain connected,
and the new Seip receiver fitted beside it, this will allow both new and
old transmitters to be used to control the door (please note: you won't benefit from the improved security of the Seip rolling code
technology unless the old receiver is disconnected)
Q/ What is the range
from which I can control the door ? A/ Seip keyfobs have a range of approx. 75 - 100 Mtrs
