Cardale Steel-Line & AutoGlide operators produced prior to 2000 used 418Mhz radio transmitters, the blue front type 433Mhz AutoGlide III keyfob was launched at the end of 2000 but regretfully Cardale are no longer able to supply either of these transmitters

A convenient & easy to fit remote control upgrade to suit Cardale Steel-Line & AutoGlide garage door operator that can be fitted within about 5 minutes with no technical knowledge, we even supply a screwdriver !

The Seip EKR1MCT/13A remote control receiver unit is fitted with a 13A mains plug & 7Mtrs of low voltage flex and simply plugs into a normal household mains socket and connects by two wires to the low voltage wall mounted pushbutton switch connections on your existing garage door operator system.

Wiring connections
If you have a Cardale Autoglide III operator you'll find a pale green two pin plug beside the black 3 pin mains input plug on the underside of the motor housing as shown below.

Note: the wall mounted pushbutton switch (if fitted) should remain connected to the pale green plug in addition to the new Seip remote control receiver.

Cardale Autoglide Mk I & II

A pale green two pin plug for the pushbutton switch will be found inside the triangular wall mounted control box on an Autoglide Mk I or Mk II operator.

Note: It's essential that your Autoglide operator functions normally from the wired-in pushbutton so please confirm that your door works properly from this before ordering a Seip remote control upgrade.

Q/ If my aging electric operator fails, can the new Seip keyfobs be used with a replacement operator ?
A/ Yes - Seip are Europe's leading garage door operator manufacturer and the keyfob transmitters supplied with our upgrade kits are compatible with the current Seip electric door operator range and if you decide to purchase a replacement Seip electric door operator from us within 12 months of buying a remote control upgrade we'll buy back the unwanted Seip receiver unit at the original purchase price less 50%.

Q/ Can I use the spare button(s) on Seip keyfobs to control other doors or items around the home ?
A/ Yes - Seip produce a range of receivers to enable gates, water pumps & lights etc. to be controlled by the spare keyfob buttons.

Q/ Will I still be able to use the original hand transmitters ?
A/ Yes - by attaching a new Seip receiver in addition to the original, both new and old transmitters can be used to control a door

Q/ What is the range from which I can control the door ?
A/ The Seip Midi keyfob has a range of 75 to100 Mtrs whilst the smaller Mini fob offers slightly less range
